The boxes are SuperMicro chassis; I’m running a RAID6 array on an AMCC 3ware 9690SA SAS/SATA RAID Controller using the 3.0.4.56 driver. These chassis have 16GB of RAM, ive swapped out every stick on the offending system and this made no difference.
